Are you an international student living in Korea? Do you have a unique, creative way to show your impressions of Korea?
The Korean Overseas Culture and Information Service (KOCIS), under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will hold a UCC, photo, and essay contest on Korean culture from May 16 to June 30.
Please send us your ideas and impressions of Korea, including personal accounts of unforgettable experiences, people and places, along with pictures or video telling KOCIS what you like about Korea. The contents should include impressions of Korea, its cultural attractions, or an experience in a creative and entertaining way.
The contest is open to international students of all ages, from primary school to graduate school students, who are currently living in Korea. There are three different categories: UCC videos lasting up to two minutes, photo essays including up to 12 shots, and Korean-language essays of approximately two pages. Applicants may submit one entry per category.
Winners will be announced on July 22, and are eligible for prize money of op to two million won.
