The G20 Seoul Speakers’ Consultation opened on Thursday at the Rotunda Hall of the National Assembly under the theme “Safe World, Better Future.”
On the first day of the meeting, four sessions will take place. The first and second sessions will focus on parliaments devising joint strategies for promoting world peace and fighting terrorism. The third session will center on ways to promote international cooperation for global security. The fourth session will devise development strategies for developing nations based on experiences of advanced countries.
On the second day of the gathering on Friday, the fifth and sixth sessions will take place. The sessions will discuss parliaments’ role and ways to promote international cooperation for joint growth in the wake of the financial crisis.
