The county Chinden Jeolla Province has opened a museum dedicated to one of the most popular and well known in Korea folk songs – “Arirang”.
In the museum you can learn about the history of song and its variations in different regions of Korea. The creation of a cultural object has been spent 15 billion won, or about 13 million 700 thousand dollars.
Visitors can try to sing the song “Arirang” in its different variants, as well as listen to the recording of his singing. In addition, on the museum site is located, where you can get acquainted with the process of cooking the traditional alcoholic beverage Honchzhu, which is made from Chinese red rice, which complements the tourist county Chinden content.
